VNLA EXCEEDS EXCELLENCE AWARD   -  This Master Plan process created an award winning poolside oasis that transformed a traditional landscape into an escape. With a new privacy fence along the east side of the property and common open space abutting the back of the property, the owner was able to take advantage of even more privacy and open views. The kidney shaped pool with spa and bluestone patio created a threshold to take in these long views and enjoy the outdoors. Gardens surrounded the spa and pool varying from sunny perennials to shady groundcovers with birch, japanese maple, stewartia, dogwood, viburnum, magnolia and crabapple trees adding to the layers of texture and bloom time.
